Let the Wine Flow...Covell Wine Bar - Opening Soon in Los Feliz

Let the Wine Flow…Covell Wine Bar – Opening Soon in Los Feliz

dThe driving school on Hollywood Blvd and Vermont is scheduled to become the 1,100 sq ft. Covell Wine Bar, headed by Dustin Lancaster (Cafe Stella) and Matthew Kaner(Silverlake Wine). Covell is focusing on quality and intimacy; serving boutique wines and craft beer (and bottles “to go”). The idea is to support local West Coast breweries and small production wines. Wines will run about 5$-12$ a glass. The rotating wine selection will include “anything and everything, whatever we like,” Kaner says. “I’ve been doing this too long to discriminate; there’s great wine coming from everywhere.”

Located in the Vermont Post Office parking lot on Sundays, 9am to 2pm, this local market holds a variety of treasures for all sorts of taste-buds. We were expecting to see a crowd of masses but to our surprise we were part of a handful that took advantage of this valuable find.
