To be ..or not to be…that is the question? For “Los Felizians” its a no-brainer! The Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) brings the passion of the classics to the park for free. Since 2010, when the company moved their festival to Griffith Park’s Old Zoo, ISC has focused on diversity in theater trying to reach out to multi-generations and backgrounds. Tonight’s performance is “She Stoop’s to Conquer” by Oliver Goldsmith. You can check the schedule for other performances, such as Macbeth and As You Like It. They even offer pre-show performances by Los Angeles Artists on certain days so check the calendar and get there early to experience the entire event in its full capacity.

Yesterday, many of us heard the helicopters above and watched on TV as several L.A.P.D. cars were in pursuit of the tow truck. He drove on Los Feliz Blvd. a couple of times, where at one point police even tried to throw a strip stick in front of him in an unsuccessful attempt to detour him. They ended up pursuing the tow truck to Glendale, where he finally surrendered.

The Silver Lake Chorus is a symphonious blend of joy-mongering LA Eastsiders who’ve been rocking choral arrangements of indie music since February 2010. We are looking for TENORS to join our group! Rehearsals take place on Monday nights from 8-10pm and we often perform at clubs in LA such as The Satellite (formerly Spaceland), The Bootleg, Largo, etc. If you are interested, please send a short video of yourself singing 2 songs (16 bars each) along with a little info about yourself, to email@example.com by FRIDAY NOV 4TH.
Please make sure your song choices befit the Chorus’s indie aesthetic.
