Sobriety Checkpoint Tonight On Los Feliz/Riverside

With all the Holiday festivities, visiting in-laws, maxed out credit cards, yummy dinners and all the office parties, its no surprise the alcohol intake escalates during this Season. The LAPD is serious about not driving under the influence and has set up sobriety checkpoints through out the Los Angeles area, on Friday and Saturday nights.

In our own corner of Los Feliz, The Emergency Operations Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. at Los Feliz Boulevard and Riverside Drive, tonight, Friday, December 17, 2010. If you are planning to drink, please take a cab (in some cases might be cheaper than parking), designate a driver, higher a private car (which is pretty reasonable if you are a larger group) or use public transportation.
