Please take a moment to vote YES on Measure L next Tuesday, March 8…And pass this along to your friends, family and co-workers! What is Measure L? Measure L is a City Charter amendment, which means it’s not a new tax. It means that you are telling the City of Los
Angeles to give ONE more PENNY per $100 of taxes paid to the library department. Since 1878, voters have done this for the library five times; most recently in 1999.

We have called a press conference/RALLY on the steps of City Hall, 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA, for Wednesday January 5th at 10Am to call on the City Council and the Department of Cultural Affairs to cut their own high salaries BEFORE they cut part time staff at Barnsdall Art Park.

With all the Holiday festivities, visiting in-laws, maxed out credit cards, yummy dinners and all the office parties, its no surprise the alcohol intake escalates during this Season. The LAPD is serious about not driving under the influence and has set up sobriety checkpoints through out the Los Angeles area, on Friday and Saturday nights.
